Our Partners and Supporters

Zimbabwe YMCA has over the years worked with a number of partners who include Y-Care International, YMCA USA, Canada YMCA, Swedish YMCA/YWCA, Kitchener-Waterloo, Zimbabwe AIDS Network, Population Services International and UNICEF. The mentioned partners supported different projects and programmes such as the Gender, Family Life Education Project (FLEP), Teen Service, Harare After School Project (HASP) and a number of emergency relief projects, notably disaster management projects.

Locally YMCA works with Government Ministries like Ministry of Youth., Ministry of Health and Child Development, Ministry of Women Affairs and Gender, Department of Social Welfare. Zimbabwe YMCA is also a member of the National Association of Non Governmental Organisations (NANGO). The Bulawayo branch is a member of Zimbabwe AIDS Network. Being part of these networks has helped in making Zimbabwe YMCA more visible. There is potential for more partnerships with other organisations who are members of these networks and others working in the area of Youth Empowerment

YMCA is also getting help from the PEPFER in the Coalition for effective Community Healthy and HIV Responsive Leadership and Accountability Program

(CECHLA) being implemented in Kadoma and Chegutu Branches
